PCC Secures 8th Consecutive ‘Best in KLAS’ Distinction!

Written by Allie Squires | Feb 04, 2026

At PCC, relationships come first. Ever since our founding in 1983, they always have. Our work begins and ends with the pediatricians we serve, the staff who support them, and the families who rely on their care. That’s why we are deeply honored to share that PCC has once again earned Best in KLAS recognition from KLAS Research, in the Ambulatory Pediatric Solutions category.

This year’s recognition marks our eighth consecutive year as the #1 ranked ambulatory pediatric EHR solution nationwide. It’s a milestone we don’t take lightly, because it isn’t awarded by judges or panels. This award is so important to us because it comes directly from the voices of pediatric practices across the country – voices that speak up for their communities, for all families, for all children.

Recognition Powered by Pediatricians

KLAS Research is widely respected as an independent insights firm of healthcare software and services. Their annual Software & Services Report is built on direct feedback from clinicians and practice staff who use these tools every day. In 2026, PCC earned a KLAS score of 94.8, reflecting a 1% increase from our already-strong 2025 score of 93.5.

That number represents more than performance metrics. It reflects trust that PCC has your practice’s back. It reflects long days in busy offices, thoughtful implementation decisions, agile problem-solving, and honest feedback from pediatricians who expect their EHR to work as hard as they do.

As PCC Marketing Director Chris Forleo shared:

“Our gratitude goes out to the pediatricians who empower our work. This wouldn't be possible without our clients. Thanks for naming us the best pediatric EHR according to KLAS Research—we love what we do and look forward to continuing to serve the pediatric community for many years to come.”

KLAS CEO Adam Gale echoes that sentiment in his remarks on this year’s report:

“The Best in KLAS awards recognize the vendors who consistently deliver excellence through partnership with healthcare organizations. Winning this award means customers trust you to help them succeed in our rapidly changing healthcare landscape. This means helping them to improve patient care, achieve better outcomes, and find true ROI. We’re honored to amplify the voice of providers and payers at KLAS, and to celebrate those vendors who turn feedback into action.”

Built for Independent Pediatricians

PCC has always been about more than software. We are an independent benefit corporation, proudly celebrating over 40 years of operation in 2026, with headquarters in the historic Champlain Mill in Winooski, Vermont. Independence matters to us, because it matters to the practices we serve.

Our tools are designed specifically for independent pediatricians with practices’ input and review, and are never retrofitted from adult or hospital-based systems. Recent features like Patient Pre-Check-In, expanded Patient Portal Scheduling, and our industry-leading e-Prescribing solution – including mobile prescribing are built to reduce friction, save time, and support real-world pediatric workflows.

But technology is only part of the story. PCC is a partner and, we hope, a friend to pediatrics. We invest our energy and our vision into helping pediatric practices thrive, not just survive, in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape. We are committed to science, and committed to you.

Your Community Is Our Community

When pediatric practices succeed, families benefit. When practices feel supported, clinicians can focus on what matters most: caring for kids. Thriving kids in supportive communities is the goal that connects our software and services to pediatricians’ care.

Being named Best in KLAS in Ambulatory Pediatric Solutions for the eighth year in a row is a powerful affirmation that this approach works. And it’s only possible because pediatricians continue to share their experiences, their feedback, and their trust with us.

From all of us at PCC: thank you. We’re honored to serve you, proud to stand beside you, and excited to keep building the future of pediatric care together.
