Introducing: the Insurance Balances Tool
If you’re used to using Excel, Google Sheets, or plain paper and pencil to help you keep track of everything you need in pediatric billing, the Insurance Balances tool creates a streamlined workflow that’s modern, graphic, and dynamic to what you need – all in one tool.
Key features in the Insurance Balances tool include:
- Saves time for billers by removing the need for disparate tools and creating an easy workflow
- Assign tasks to yourself or another user
- Leave notes for later
- Follow up on unpaid claims
- View unpaid encounters by aging category
- For users of Partner, this tool improves upon Practice Management tools such as: insaging, inscoar, and the srs Claim Error report.
Billers can do all of these actions right in the Insurance Balances tool. This allows you to see the information in a better way. The ability to review claims aging is also better than ever, improved by making certain items by transaction date.

In the Fall 2025 release, we’re continuing the work to keep your billing processes integrated, automated, and connected.
Real time claim status is currently in development! PCC Real-Time Claim Status Inquiry, like PCC Real-Time Eligibility Verification, allows you to request detail automatically, directly, and immediately from payors right in PCC EHR! This will save you time and effort otherwise spent interacting with payor web portals, Interactive Voice Response systems, and Provider Service representatives.
